$10 a family

Every family who gets the Sideline DJ Pass through your page gives your team $10. Paid monthly, straight to the team.

20 families from your rink, your tournament and your association get the Pass through your page: $200 for your team. There is no cap.

Why families say yes

They're helping a team, and getting a better game.

Sideline DJ runs the music at youth hockey and ringette games from one iPhone: the goal horn, every player's name called out, and clean songs for every moment. Your page gives them a reason to try it, and your team the thank-you.

For your team
Money for tournaments, travel, ice time or a team party, raised without selling anything.
For families
A free first game with every player's name recorded, then the Pass if they love it.
For the rink
Kids hear their names over the PA. That's the moment they remember.

Questions

Team fundraising questions.

How does my team earn money?

When a family who runs music for a team gets the Sideline DJ Pass through your team's page or code, Sideline DJ gives your team $10. It counts a new customer's first Pass, not renewals. There is no cap.

Who can start a page?

A team manager, treasurer or coach: an adult allowed to receive money for the team. It takes about two minutes and the page goes live straight away.

When is the money paid?

Every month, for what the team earned the month before, by Interac e-Transfer in Canada or PayPal in the US. Amounts under $25 roll over to the next month. A team over $1,000 in a season is checked before it is paid.

What can the money be used for?

Whatever your team needs: tournament fees, travel, ice time, equipment, a team party. Your team decides.

Does someone have to be on our team to help?

No. Grandparents, friends and other hockey families can all help. The people who earn your team money are families who run music for any team, anywhere, and get the Pass through your page.

What if someone downloads the app from the App Store directly?

They type your team's code, or pick your team by name, under Supporting a team in the app (Profile, or on the Pass screen). Anyone who signed up on the website through your page is linked automatically.

Is the app on the App Store yet?

Sideline DJ is launching on the App Store this fall. Start your page now: families who join the waitlist through it are counted for your team, and each one who gets the Pass earns your team its $10.

Are players named on the page?

Never. The page shows your team name, your goal and how much you've raised. No player names, photos or contact details.

The terms

Fundraising terms.

Sideline DJ (Mounthorn Holdings Ltd.) sponsors youth teams that share Sideline DJ with their community. For each new customer whose first paid Sideline DJ Pass is bought while supporting your team (through your page, your link or your team code), Sideline DJ pays your team $10. Renewals, Family Sharing members and refunded purchases do not count; a refund after payment is taken off the next payment.

Payments are made monthly for the previous month, by Interac e-Transfer (Canada) or PayPal (United States), to the details you give. Amounts under $25 roll over. Before the first payment we may contact you to confirm the details. A team over $1,000 in a season is reviewed before payment.

Your page shows your team name, level, city, goal and purpose, and how much has been raised. Do not add players' names, photos or contact details. We may pause or remove a page that is misleading, abused or inactive, and may end or change the program with notice; anything already earned is still paid.

Sideline DJ's privacy policy covers the details you give us: sidelinedj.com/privacy. Questions: hello@sidelinedj.com.
